1 Rack of QRE: Coyote’s Baby Back Ribs

The Original Rack. The One That Started It All.

Lean. Tender. Wickedly flavorful.
Coyote’s Baby Back Ribs are the very first rib we ever crafted at Devil’s Pit — the rack that defined our path, shaped our standards, and set the bar so high the rest of the industry still can’t reach it.

Named after Coyote — the Native American trickster devil known for his cunning, charm, and unpredictability — these ribs live up to their name:

Sneaky flavorful.
Shockingly tender.
Devilishly addictive.

The Story

When we crafted these baby backs, we had a mission:

Enough smoke to taste it.
Not enough to overpower it.
Tender enough to pull the bones right out.

We wanted a rack so perfectly balanced that even first-timers —
the “Devil’s Pit virgins” — could fall in love instantly.

That’s why we season them with our original Lilith’s Rub, a sweet-savory balance that enhances but never overshadows the meat.

Lean ribs require precision.
Attention.
Patience.

And maybe that’s why we chased a level of quality that exceeds what the industry even defines as perfection.

And speaking of memorable moments…
One customer once asked if they were actually coyote ribs.
Before I could answer, her husband said:

“Why do you care? You eat dog.”

We never forgot that moment —
and damn if these ribs aren’t just as unforgettable.

Devil’s Pit Rack Grading Scale

(Because not all racks are created equal…)

Coyote's Baby Back Ribs — “A to B Rack”

Almost a rack… barely a rack.
Cute. Lean. Tender. A great starter rack.

Adam's St. Louis Spare Ribs — “C to D Rack”

Can Complain → Dang, this rack is big.
Balanced. Sexy. Always satisfying.

Adam's Natural Spare Ribs — “Dang This is a Big Rack → Enormous Rack”

Thick. Full. Powerful.

Mammoth Beef Ribs — “This Rack Has to Be Fake → Ginormous Rack”

Massive. Intimidating. Heavy.

Argentinosaurus Wagyu Beef Ribs — “Ginormous Rack → Help, I’ve Fallen Over Because This Rack Is Too Big”

The final boss rack.

Coyote’s Baby Back Ribs?

Lean. Tender.

And the original standard of perfection.

A 102-Hour Transformation + 30-Day Cure

Baby backs are lean —
so we had to be meticulous.

Coyote’s Baby Back Ribs undergo a 102-hour ritual:

✔ Brined for tenderness
✔ Smoked gently for balanced flavor
✔ Roasted to lock in juiciness
✔ Rested until they nearly fall apart
✔ Cured 30 days, infusing smoke all the way to the bone

The result?

A baby back rib that eclipses every definition of perfection.

HellFire: The Smoke

We use our signature three-wood HellFire blend:

🔥 Apple – Idaho
🔥 Post Oak – Texas
🔥 Hickory – Memphis

Balanced. Warm. Never overwhelming.
Just enough smoke to tease the senses —
not enough to bully the meat.

The Rub

Coyote’s Baby Backs are seasoned with our very first rub:
Lilith’s Rub — sweet, savory, addictive.

Perfect for Devil’s Pit virgins.
Perfect for seasoned carnivores.
Perfect for anyone who appreciates ribs done right.

The Flavor

Coyote’s Baby Back Ribs offer:

⚔️ Lean, clean pork flavor
🔥 Smoke that whispers, not shouts
😈 A wickedly tender bite
💀 Bones that slide right out

They don’t need sauce —
but they pair beautifully with anything from our 1,350 Utah-Style Fruit-Infused BBQ Sauces.

The Pack

Your Coyote’s Baby Backs arrive in our triple-layer protection system:

Inner food-safe rib bag
Second protective layer
Extra-long outer bag for water-safe reheating

Designed for zero water intrusion when reheating at home.

And because of our 102-hour process + 30-day cure, they taste:

Better than any ribs fresh off the smoker.
And that’s not a guess —
it’s the truth.

QRE: Instructions

🔥 If defrosted:
Boil the entire triple-wrapped package for 15 minutes.

❄️ If frozen:
Boil for 30 minutes.

⚠️ Trap the long tail of the outer bag under the lid
to keep water from sneaking in.

The Legend

Coyote is the master of trickery —
and these ribs trick everyone:

They’re lean…
but unbelievably juicy.
They’re small…
but ridiculously flavorful.
They’re simple…
but impossible to forget.

The Invitation

Baby backs are smaller…
so you might want two or three racks tonight.
Hell — make it a party and share a rack with your friend!

Taste the original.
Taste the balance.
Taste the sin.

Coyote’s Baby Back Ribs — the original rack, perfected.
