our story

Where We Started

Born in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Devils Pit Barbecue was forged in a land where saints and sinners meet. Here in Utah, we created a new style of smoked barbecue—one that seduces with the sweetness of fruit and the sinful richness of meat that falls off the bone.

We've served this devilishly good blend up and down the Wasatch Front. For our loyal fans, it’s a quick bite from our truck or a QRE (Quick Ready to Eat) meal at home. But for us? It’s late nights at the smoker, dancing with the devil himself.

We’d love for you to take a bite—but be warned: once you sin, there’s no turning back.

Why We're Unique

Devils Pit isn’t your grandpa’s barbecue. We’ve strayed from the traditional paths of Texas hickory, Memphis tang, and Carolina vinegar. Instead, we’ve carved our own—into the fire.

Our sauces are fruit-infused, spice-kissed, and devil-approved—each one named after infamous devils from myths and history. Flavors include Raspberry, Peach, Pineapple, Honey, Grapefruit, Grape, Strawberry, and Watermelon, each scaled from sweet to fiery heat.

Where others smoke until done, we smoke until perfect—just enough to pull the flavor all the way through, leaving you with meat so tender it practically repents on the bone.

QRE: Quick Ready to Eat BBQ

Barbecue this good—ready in minutes? Believe it.

Our QRE meats come double-vacuum sealed by the pound, locking flavor and freshness. Just heat it your way: microwave, boil in bag, or insta pot.

For the Adventurer

Toss a bag in your cooler and hit the mountains. While your crew is choking down freeze-dried regret, you’ll be feasting on fall-off-the-bone ribs, juicy pulled pork, or tender brisket over a fire. Just know—once the scent hits the air, you might be stuck as the camp chef for life.

For the Road Warrior

Got a truck with an outlet? You’ve got barbecue. Heat it in a microwave or crockpot right on the job site. Our double-bagged packs keep cleanup easy and mess-free. Smoked meat, no stress.

For the Everyday Sinner

Long day? We’ve got you. Grab a pack on your way home, drop it in a pot of hot water (sous vide-style), and in minutes you’ve got restaurant-quality barbecue without the fuss. So good there won’t be leftovers—your only regret is you didn’t grab two.
